Section 9(2) in The Academy Of Scientific And Innovative Research Act, 2011
(2)The Academy shall make special provision for the employment or admission of women, persons with disabilities or of persons belonging to the weaker sections of the society and, in particular, of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the other socially and educationally backward classes of citizens and any exemption from making such reservation under the proviso to clause (b) of section 4 of the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act, 2006 (5 of 2007) shall not be applicable to the Academy:Provided that no such special provision shall be made on the ground of domicile.
