Section 8(1) in The Asansol Municipal Corporation Act, 1990.
(1)There shall be a Mayor-in-Council consisting of the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor and such number of other elected members of the Corporation, not exceeding [seven] [Word substituted by W.B. Act 9 of 1994.], as the State Government may from time determine.
