(1)The officers posted to the Crime Investigation Units will investigate crimes such as murder, kidnapping, rape, dacoity, robbery, dowry-related offences, serious cases of cheating, misappropriation and other economic offences as notified by the Director General of Police, besides any other cases specially entrusted to the Unit by the District Superintendent of Police.
