32. Composition of college.
(1)Each college shall comprise such Departments, as may be prescribed.(2)There shall be a Head of each Department, who shall be responsible to the concerned Deans for instruction; to the Director of Research for research work; and Director of Extension Education for extension education.(3)The Head of the Department shall be selected by the Vice-Chancellor and appointed by him with the approval of the Board, in the manner, as may be prescribed.(4)The duties, powers and functions of the Head of Department shall be such, as may be prescribed.Chapter-V Services
