Section 1040(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)The King's Police and Fire Services Medal awarded for gallantry is liable, subject to His Majesty's decision, to be forfeited if the holder is guilty of treason or sedition or of disgraceful conduct of an unnatural kind. The latter is to be held to refer to offences punishable under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code.
