Section 469(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)In issuing warrants. Magistrates shall fix a date on which the police shall return the warrant or report that it has not been executed. The date of this report shall be fixed so as to allow the mufassil police a reasonable time for proper action in obedience to the warrant.
