Section 5(1) in Uttar Pradesh Krishi Utpadan Mandi Adhiniyam, 1964
(1)Where the State Government is of opinion that it is necessary or expedient in the public interest to regulate the sale and purchase of any agricultural produce in any area, [***] [Omitted by section 3 of U.P. Act No. 6 of 1977.], and for that purpose to declare that area as a Market Area, it may, by notification in the Gazette, and in such other manner as may be prescribed, declare its intention so to do, and invite objections against the proposed declaration.
