Section 56(8)(ii) in The M.P. Bhumi Vikas Rules, 1984

(ii)Further the inner courtyard shall have an area, through out its height, of not less than the square of one-fifth the height of the highest wall abutting the courtyard; provided that when any room (excluding staircase bay and bath rooms and water closet) is dependent for its light and ventilation on an inner courtyard, the dimension shall be such as is required for each wing of the building.
