212. Register of Salary Bill Form No. 1.
(a)On the 25th of each month, the Office Qanungo will prepare the monthly salary bill in the form prescribed for the purpose by the Accounts Department and keep a copy in this register. Pay must be refunded by short drawal if disbursed for two months thus the pay received for January may be disbursed either in February or in March, and any sum that has not been disbursed in March must be refunded in the bill for that month. The Office Qanungo will show in the bill all deductions ordered upto the date of despatch; deductions ordered after that date will be shown in the bill for the following month. When the bill has been passed by the Treasury and cash orders have been received, the pay of the hind records staff will be distributed on the date fixed for this purpose.(b)With a view to enable the Office Qanungo to exercise an effective check on the salary bills of land records staff, copies of all orders affecting their salaries shall be sent to him.
