On query as to why the petitioner was not called for an interview earlier than he was by the respondent Commission, Mr.Goyal, learned counsel for the Commission, points to the fact that a letter was written by the Secretary of the Commission to the Director, Higher Education, Haryana, seeking a clarification with regard to the equivalence of a post graduate degree in Accountancy and Business Statistics with a post graduate degree in Commerce, to which the Director vide his letter dated 22.5.2017 (Annexure R-2/1 with the reply of the Commission), stated that the two degrees are equivalent to each other and therefore, the petitioner and others like him were eventually called for interviews.
However, he submits that even as per the result already declared on the website of the Commission, the petitioner has not been 1 of 2 ::: Downloaded on - 24-12-2017 01:15:42 ::: CWP No.11895 of 2017 2 selected on merits.
That being so, this petition has been rendered infructuous. and is disposed of as such.
