Section 11 in Assam Adoption of Standard Weights Act, 1955
11. Validity of weights.
- No weight shall be accepted for verification under the provisions of this Act, and the rules framed there, under-(i)unless its material, form and specifications con-form to the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder; and(ii)unless its denomination is marked on the top or side thereof in legible letters or figures or both.
