Section 5(1) in The Maharashtra Tax on the Entry of Goods into Local Areas Act, 2002
(1)The State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, establish a check-post at the entry point of every local area specifying in such notification also the officer who shall be in-charge of such check-post and his area of jurisdiction.
