(1)Every sitting member of the Legislative Assembly of Madras representing a constituency which on the appointed day by virtue of the provisions of section 12 stands transferred, whether with or without alteration of boundaries, to the State of Andhra or to the State of Mysore shall, as from the appointed day, cease to be a member of the Legislative Assembly of Madras and shall be deemed to have been elected to the Legislative Assembly of Andhra or as the case may be of Mysore by that constituency as so transferred.(2)The sitting member of the Legislative Assembly of Madras nominated to that Assembly under article 333 to represent the Anglo-Indian community shall, notwithstanding the diminution in the area of that State, continue to represent the said community in that Assembly under that article.
