- Every person who is elected to be a member of Zilla Parishad, Anchalik Panchayat or Gaon Panchayat shall, before taking his seat, make and subscribe before such authority as may be specified by the State Government in this behalf on oath or affirmation of his allegiance to the Constitution of India at a meeting which shall hereinafter be called the first meeting in the following form.
