Section 9(2) in Bombay Children (Management of Remand Homes Maintained by District Associations) Rules, 1955
(2)The person appointed under sub-rule (1) shall exercise all the powers and perform all the functions of the Superintendent during the absence of the permanent Superintendent and the rules relating to the powers and duties of the Superintendent shall apply to him accordingly.
