Section 31(1) in The Punjab Town Improvement Act, 1922
(1)In the locality comprised in a scheme under this Act, no person shall, except with the written permission of the trust, erect, re-erect, add to or alter any building so as to make the same project beyond a street alignment or building line duly prescribed by the trust.
