(1)The State Government may, by general or special order to be published in the manner prescribed, entrust all or any of the things specified in sub-section (2), which vest in the State Government, to a [Gram Panchayat] [Substituted 'Gram Sabha' by U.P. Act No. 4 of 2016, dated 11.3.2016.] or other local authority for the purposes of superintendence, preservation, management and control in accordance with the provisions of this Code.
