Section 3(1) in The Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation Act, 1997
(1)The State Government shall, by [notification] [See Maharashtra Government Gazette , Part IV-B, Page 873, dated 19th March, 1998 (Vide G.N.I.D, No. VSM. 1096/(304196) WRP, dated 25th March, 1997.) whereunder the Corporation is established.] in the Official Gazette, establish for the purposes of this Act, a Corporation to be called the Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation.
