Section 11(5) in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965
(5)The Vice-Chancellor, shall give effect to the orders of the Syndicate regarding appointment, dismissal, suspension and punishment of the persons in the service of the University or teachers of the University or regarding the recognition or withdrawal of the recognition of any such teacher and shall exercise general control over the affairs of the University. He shall be responsible for the discipline of the University in accordance with this Act, [the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations] [Substituted for 'the Statutes and Ordinances' by Gujarat No. 30 of 2003, dated 19th September 2003.],
