Section 138 in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
138. Consideration of the budget estimate by the Corporation.
- The Corporation shall at its meeting to be convened for the purpose on or before the first day of March, consider and approve on or before the fifteenth day of March the budget estimate placed before it by the Standing Committee on Taxation, Finance and Accounts with or without modifications and addition, and in any case the Corporation shall finally adopt a budget estimated income and expenditure of the Corporation for the next year.
