Section 13(4) in The Maharishi Dayanand University Act, 1975
(4)The member of the Academic Council, other than ex officio members, shall hold office for a term of two years :Provided that any member who ceases to hold the qualifications by virtue of which he was elected or nominated as member to the Academic council shall cease to be a member thereof.
