Information sought:
The appellant sought information on 6 points regarding number of teachers appointed on ad hoc basis in MCD aided schools since 01.01.2011 till date, their education/academic qualification, etc. Relevant facts emerging during hearing:
Both the parties are present. The appellant filed an RTI application on 16.04.2014, seeking the above information. PIO/DDE(HQ) in his reply provided point-wise information to the appellant. The FAA in his order upheld the PIO's decision. The appellant stated that the information received is from the respondent authority is incomplete as the same has not been provided for the year 2011. The respondent stated that the MCD was trifurcated since 01.04.2012 and information since then, has been provided. He stated that he will check if the same is available and can be collected, it will be provided to the appellant.
Decision:
After hearing the parties and on perusal of record, the Commission directs PIO/ADE(HQ), EDMC to provide information relating to the year 2011, as is available on record, to the appellant, within three weeks of receipt of this order, under intimation to the Commission. If the same is not available then, intimation to that effect shall also be provided to appellant, under intimation to the Commission.
The appeal is disposed of accordingly.
