Section 3 in The Prohibition Of Employment As Manual Scavengers And Their Rehabilitation Act, 2013
3. Act to have overriding effect.—
The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything inconsistent therewith contained in the Employment of Manual Scavengers and Construction of Dry Latrines (Prohibition) Act, 1993 ( 46 of 1993) or in any other law, or in any instrument having effect by virtue of any other law.
