Section 140 in Tamil Nadu Educational Inspection Code
140. Visits to Chairman and Presidents.
- Deputy Inspector should make it a point of visiting from, time to time, the Chairman of Municipal Councils, Presidents of Local Boards and Executive Officers in order to keep them thoroughly informed as to the condition of the elementary schools maintained by the Council or the Board, as the case may be, and of other recognised schools in the locality.District Educational Officers should impress upon all Deputy Inspectors the importance of their duty in this respect.
