Section 11(1) in Rajasthan Power Sector Reforms Transfer Scheme 2000
(1)Within 60 days of the effective date of transfer RVPN shall apply to the Commission for grant of licence under section 18 of the Act to undertake the business of bulk supply of electricity in the State:Provided, however, that on and from the effective date of transfer and till the grant of licence by the Commission, RVPN shall be entitled to exercise the rights and powers exercisable by the Board under the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948 (Central Act No. 54 of 1948), and undertake the business of bulk supply of electricity in the State, in the same manner as the Board was entitled to exercise prior to the effective date of transfer.
