Section 4A(2)(a) in Bombay Metropolitan Region Development Authority Act, 1974

(a)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (1) the Metropolitan Commissioner shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the [Authority; and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions or duties as the Authority may, by a resolution passed in this behalf, direct. The Metropolitan Commissioner may, by general or special order, further direct that such of the powers or functions or duties delegated to him as aforesaid or under sub-section (5) of section 7 shall be exercised or performed by such of the officers of the Authority, as may be specified in such order.]
