Section 17(1) in Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit Act, 1994
(1)The Academic Council shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, guide and supervise all the academic activities of the University and shall be responsible for the maintenance of standards of instruction and examinations of the University.
