Section 21 in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
21. Powers and functionsof the Senate.-
Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, the Senate shall have the following powers, namely:-(a)to review, from time to time, the general policies and programmes of the University;(b)to suggest measures for the improvement and development of the University;(c)to considerthe annual report and the annualaccounts of the University and the Audit Report on such accounts and to pass resolutionthereon;(d)to advise the Chancellor on any matter referred to by him in for advice.
