Section 12(2) in The Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1) or any other provisions of this Act, when the Marketing Board is constituted for the first time, all the members, the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman thereof shall be nominated by the Government:Provided that the Chairman and the Vice-Chairman shall be nominated from amongst the agriculturists from the State of Goa.
