(1)If any person contravenes any order made under section 16, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both; and the property in respect of which the order has been contravened or such part thereof as the Court may deem fit, shall be forfeited to the Central Government.
