(2)The stock register shall be balanced daily.N.B. - In case of dispensing chemists and druggists, balance of stock in hand shall not be required to be struck daily, since the balance will be liable to reduction by the amount used in the prescriptions and wastage. It will however be possible roughly to estimate this amount by reference to the prescription register, the entries in which it is intended should be excluded from the sale and stock registers.
