Section 1 in The West Bengal Industrial Infra-Structure Development Corporation Act, 1974
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the West Bengal Industrial Infra-structure Development Corporation Act, 1974.(2)It extends to the whole of West Bengal.(3)This Act except the provisions of Chapter V shall come into force at once. The provisions of Chapter V shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint and for this purpose different dates may be appointed for different areas to be specified in the notification.
