Section 11(1) in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
(1)The Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed b y the Chancellor o n the unanimou recommendation of a Cornmettee appointed by him consistin of three members, one nominated by University Grant Commission, one elected by the Syndicate and the third nominated by the Government. The Committee shall make it recommendation within a period of three months from the dat of its appointment.
