Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent produced the communication of the Member Secretary, Pondicherry Institute of Post Matric Technical Education (PIPMATE), dated 05.04.2022, in which, it is stated that the above order does not hold applicable for the petitioners, as they have already completed 3 years of service in the Selection Grade before the AICTE Notification.
2. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
