Section 32(9) in The Merchant Shipping (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) Rules, 1998
(9)Seafarers who are required to be trained in accordance with sub-rules (2), (5) and (6) shall, at intervals not exceeding five years, undertake appropriate refresher training.
