Section 17(e) in Tamil Nadu Labour Welfare Board Service Regulations, 1989
(e)Subject to the provision or regulations for pay, there shall be paid to such person promoted temporarily, the minimum pay in higher cadre or his pay in the existing cadre whichever is higher.
