(1)The Police Act, 1861, in its application to the State of Sikkim, is hereby repealed.(2)Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken or any proceeding instituted under the Act so repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken or instituted under the corresponding provision of this Act.(3)All references in any enactment to any of the provisions of the Act so repealed shall be construed as references to the corresponding provision of this Act.
