Section 11 in Jammu and Kashmir Biological Diversity Rules, 2015
11. Powers and Duties of the Chairperson.
- i. The Chairperson shall ensure that the affairs of the Board are run efficiently and in accordance with the provisions of the Act and rules made thereunder.ii. The Chairperson shall have the powers of general superintendence over the officers and staff of the Board and may also issue necessary directions for the conduct and management of the affairs of the Board.iii. The Chairperson shall preside over all meetings of the Board and shall ensure that all decisions of the Board are implemented in proper manner.iv. The Chairperson shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be delegated to him from time to time by the Board.
