Section 6(1)(c) in The Goa, Daman and Diu (Laws) Regulation, 1962

(c)until the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898, is brought into force in that Union territory and Magistrates are appointed thereunder, any reference to a Magistrate shall be construed as a reference to the District Judge; and
