Section 7(1) in Andhra Pradesh Cotton Seeds (Regulation of Supply, Distribution, Sale and Fixation of Sale Price) Act, 2007
(1)The producer or distributor or vendor of cotton seeds or whose address appears on the label shall a§ the case may be disclose the expected performance of such seed, under given condition to the Controller and if such seed fails to provide the expected performance under such given conditions the Government or farmer may claim compensation in such manner as may be prescribed. In respect of transgenic seed all the conditions that are imposed by Genetic Engineering Approval Committee, has to be complied.
