9. Term of office of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Market Committee.
- [Section 43 (2) (iii)]. - (1) The term of office of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of a Committee shall be co-terminus with the term of office of the members who had elected them.(2)A chairman or a Vice-Chairman shall cease to function as such -(a)on the termination of his membership; or(b)on the acceptance of his resignation given in writing to the Board; or(c)on the confirmation by the Chairman of the Board of the resolution passed by the members under sub-section (2) of section 16; or(d)on his removal from the membership by the State Government under section 15.
