Section 1 in The National Security Guard Rules, 1987
1. Short title, commencement and application.
(1)These rules may be called the National Security Guard Rules, 1987.(2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.(3)These rules shall apply to all persons subject to the Act :Provided that the provisions of Chapter IV thereof shall not apply to the persons on deputation with the National Security Guard :Provided further that the provisions of chapters IX and X thereof shall not apply to trials by Summary Security Guard Courts in so far as they are inconsistent with any of the provisions contained in chapter XI thereof pertaining to Summary Security Guard Courts.
