Section 13 in The Hoarding and Profiteering Prevention Ordinance, 2000
13. Penalties.
(1)Whoever contravenes any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to five years, or with fine, or with both.(2)Whoever fails to comply with any direction made under authority conferred by this Ordinance shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.(3)[ A Court convicting any person of an offence punishable under this Ordinance may order any article, in respect of which the offence was committed, to be forfeited to [the Government.] [Sub-section (3) of section 13 substituted by Ordinance VI of 2001.]
