Section 38 in The Karnataka State Universities Act, 2000
38. The term of Office of the Members of the Academic Council and Syndicate.
(1)Save as otherwise provided, the term of the office of the Members other than the Ex-officio Members of the Academic Council and the Syndicate shall be three years, or till reconstitution, whichever is earlier.(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Academic Council and the Syndicate shall be reconstituted once in three years simultaneously.
