Section 279(1) in The Maharashtra Municipal Councils, Nagar Panchayats And Industrial Townships Act, 1965
(1)No person shall use or employ in any factory or any other premises any whistle or trumpet operated by steam or mechanical means for the purpose of summoning or dismissing workmen or persons employed, except under and in accordance with the conditions of a licence granted under the provisions of the bye-laws made in this behalf.
