Section 33(1) in Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994
(1)Every elected Mayor or member shall, before taking his seat, make and subscribe at a meeting of the Corporation, an oath or affirmation according to the following form, namely :-I........................having been elected as a Mayor or member of the Municipal Corporation of.........................do swear in the name of God that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India as by law established and that I will faithfully discharge the duty upon which I am about to enter.
