48. Penalty for offences not otherwise punishable.
- If any person is convicted of any act in contravention of any provisions of this Act or of any rules, notifications or orders made, issued or given under this Act, for which a penalty is not prescribed elsewhere in this Act, he shall be liable to fine which may extend to one thousand rupees.
