Section 1 in The Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called [the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund Act] [This short title was substituted for the short title 'the Bombay Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1953' by Maharashtra 24 of 2012, Schedule entry No. 48 (w.r.e.f. 1.5.1960.](2)[ It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra] [Sub-section (2) was substituted by Maharashtra 36 of 1961, Section 4.].(3)It shall come into force in such area and one such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
