Section 6(f) in U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Committees and Sub-Committees, Affiliation of Institutions) Regulation, 2000
(f)to lay down mode of examination for any course of study other than those covered in Uttar Pradesh Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission, Conduct, of Examination and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992; as may be decided by the board from time to time and to fix examination rules for it;
