Section 229(5) in The Coal Mines Regulations, 2011
(5)Drill machine shall not be used at any work place where there is after allowing for swing of the machine, clear space not less than the following:-(a)below the roof or its support 0.3 metr; and(b)on the sides 0.6 meter.
